M-Sand stands for Manufactured Sand. M-sand has crushed aggregates produced from hard granite stone which is cubically shaped with grounded edges, washed, and graded with consistency to be used as a substitute for river sand. It is a fine aggregate that is produced by crushing stone, gravel, or slag.
